Late last year Invest Africa together with Techstars partnered up for the first ever Accelerating Africa. They showcased seven innovators within financial services in Africa to a panel of five early stage investors at Rise in New York. Those companies are globally-scalable catalysts of change and our collective aim is to bring even more interesting and bold African opportunities to market.
Drawing on the success of last year and feedback collected from US investors, this year’s Accelerating Africa will focus on early stage investing in the future of payments and the pivotal role data is playing in driving transparency in the African financial market.
This will be an opportunity to experience the African frontier in FinTech disruption.
